Howdy, y’all!

It’s Fri-yay, but your girl has got a bit of a sinus issue that is zapping ALL of the energy out of her, so today is more of a regular, ol’ Friday.

I won’t keep you back from your usual Friday routine tonight as the night is screaming for people to head out and enjoy the cool, summer evening. Since this is a “DITL” segment, I will give you a quick update on some of the things going on in my neck o’ da woods:

1. I’ve been working on several projects, one which will unveil itself next week. I’m pretty excited about it as I’m hoping it’ll lead to more opportunities on my end.

   

2. I’ve started working on some custom jewelry pieces for my new client, a July bride (aka my bestie), and I’m really liking the way things are turning out.

   
   It wasn’t until I finished the bracelets and started tinkering around with the earrings did I realize I miscounted the amount of ladies I was crafting for, so now I have one additional set to create!

   
   The silver-lining? The person I have to make a set for is the matron of honor, and she’s getting a different dress, so I’ll be taking a little liberty to make her set a little different. Oh yeah, and that’s me!

3. I’ve been working with another friend on revamping my online store, so hopefully by July or August, you’ll be seeing new merch, a new business model, and a new logo. I’ hoping this all goes well since I’m really hoping to have my own *successful* business before the end of the year.

   

4. Last but not least, I’m going to require a lot of time management on my hands, what with the many balls I intend to juggle in the coming months. Your girl is going to be a bit of a busy little bee and in order to maintain the things I need to give my time to, I’m going to have to buckle down, coordinate a sturdy schedule, and do the damn thing.

Before I do any of that, however, I’m going to take a nap. My sinuses have decided to attack my very soul (did I mention that already?), and combined with the fact that I’ve been running around all day to prep for my coming surprise, I’m pooped.

Oh, as for that surprise I talked about last time, I was going to take le man to the movies for X-Men: Apocalypse. We watched it last night and it was pretty OK. Still not over the sheer level of destruction and how I’m supposed to believe it was all fixed between in 1983 and 2016, but whatevs.

Anyway, I’m gonna hit the hay. Yes, like an elderly woman — a devastatingly beautiful elderly woman.
