Untitled Musings #4

She came over to my apartment, and I couldn’t help but feel a little anxious. We’d been dating for some weeks and I have to admit that I really like her. I’ve always liked her really. I’d known her for a while, but just never really had the nerve to ask her on a date. When I did, we hit things off so well that it only made sense to keep dating. When she kissed me, I knew that I didn’t want to stop kissing her. And the way she looked at me – some kind of twinkle in her eye, biting her bottom lips and a blush on her cheeks – just only reassured me that I was right to ask her out again.

Tonight, I picked her up from her place and asked her where she wanted to go. She asked me if it was okay to go back to my place and I told her sure. I was kind of shocked. I thought she would’ve said dinner or a lounge or something. But she said she just wanted to stay in.

We got back to my place and when I opened the door, she stepped in, took her sneakers and put them by the door. She walked over to my couch and threw her hoodie over the arm. I watched her look around the way all females do. They scope the place out like they’re sniffing for signs of other females. She put her hands on her hips and looked around. I show her around the place – the kitchen (she nods her head in approval), the bathroom (which I’m sure she’ll be back in to go through the medicine cabinet) and then finally the bedroom. She walked over to the bed and I started to feel unsure of what she wanted. She touched the sheets, looked back and says “Nice fabric.” She looked at the nightstand and ran her finger along its edge. I stood in the doorway looking at her.

“Your bed looks comfy,” she said, smiling at me.
“It is,” I told her. It is a comfy bed. She sat on the edge and did a little bounce on it. She then looked over her shoulder and noticed the T.V. in the corner.

“You mind if we watch T.V. in here?” she asked me.
“Fine by me,” I told her. “You’re not hungry?” I asked.
She looked over at me and cooly replied “Not right now.”

She hopped on the bed and crossed her legs as I fished through my pockets for loose change and keys.I took off my jacket and sneakers and I told her I had to use the bathroom. The entire time I was taking a leak, I had to keep telling myself not to rush anything. As I started washing my hands, I heard the T.V. come on and when I walked back in the bedroom there she was -laid out on her stomach, her head at the end of the bed, her arms propped up underneath her, watching T.V. I sat on the other side of the bed, and stretched over to massage her exposed calves. She looked back at me and smiled.

“That feels nice.”

She sat up and told me to sit back on the headboard. When I did that, she rested her head in my chest and placed my hand on her lower abdomen.

“Rub my stomach please,” she said in this soft voice. She was like a little kitten, nuzzling her head along my chin. I put my hand under her shirt and ran my fingers under the waist of her jeans. I heard her make a noise…almost like a purr. I kissed her forehead, then her temple, then her cheek and finally her soft full lips.

“That was really nice,” she said to me.
“Yeah, it was,” I said. I could see her smile and bite her lip. And then, in the next moment, I heard the T.V. go off.
